Everyone has been very friendly and professional. What would have been helpful is if I had been informed more clearly, earlier on, about the fact that my cervix would need to be dilated this early on in pregnancy. I had been told by everyone, including the information booklet, that they would not need to dilate my cervix., It wasn't until I spoke to the anaesthetist that I was told I would need that done and that it is therefore best to be sedated. Other than that, everything has been as I expected to be and I am happy with the process.

I was terrified before coming in but my worries were put aside, the nurse I met today was friendly and understanding which you don't often see with medical staff and it put me at ease, what was happening and what was going to happen was also clearly explained, I feel much more in control of the situation then I did before coming to Marie stopes

The team really distracted me and made me feel better when I was nervous. They calmed me down and I felt respected all throughout my treatment and after care. I experienced a lot of pain after my treatment which was not so common and the Dr and nurses reassured me and checked me over. I felt like I had a say in my treatment and I am impressed with the team at Epping.
